Oh, not the same. I’m talking about an app that would work like a feed reader + share button. Remember Google Buzz? Something like it.

Help a brother out… Wnat is the name?

Automatically, I mean. Is there an app that lets me read reddit stuff and post to the equivalent fediverse communities?

What I want is a way to read content from the different places and then share stuff here.

If it’s really only 3 minutes in the hour, maybe it’s not so bad after all? If you are annoyed by the behavior, maybe just look for a way to nudge them out of it. Tell them that the first to reach for their phones has to pay the next round. You don’t get to be preachy about it, but it forces them to be conscious about the habit.

People only get “less addicted” if they want to or if they are getting their dopamine from some healthier alternatives. If you meet your friends and they all prefer to scroll IG for 1h instead of talking with each other, you need to find more more interesting things to do together.

I was hoping to see a page with the list of instance rules. Mastodon and PixelFed seem to have one.

How do I know whether my instance has these filters applied or not? And if rimu is putting “deliberately misleading error messages”, how can I be sure of anything?
This is why I have my most personal conversations on the bus.
I’ve tried it, but it only does the easy half of the job. It is a nice place to gather all the feeds, but there is no way to share it on a specific Lemmy community, does it?
