Unless he got shot by a cop (lol), he still would have been impeached, McConnell still would have declined to convict on that impeachment, Garland still would refuse to even think about prosecuting a former president, the maga crowd would still crowd around him, and dems still would have lost in '24. MAYBE the Republican talking points would sound more insane by an nigh indistinguishable amount.
I mean it depends on what you use it for. Lemmy instances might not have as much content, but the question is if they have enough content. If I can’t scroll to the end of reddit or Lemmy, what’s the difference? Lemmy doesn’t have the depth of knowledge, though; I’m not going to find 12 year old troubleshooting tips for my GBA on Lemmy.

So you’re a human being and you see an imperialist power doing horrendous things in the name of capitalism, patriarchy, and racial dominance. That’s bad. So bad that you begin to think that anyone against that must inherently be good. You’re so committed to that ideal that you will justify, defend, or dismiss every evil that they commit in turn.
You do see horrible shit happen in America, or in the world in America’s name. But oftentimes international conflict is just a few bad bitches racing to the bottom, and you have to be willing to stand by principles, not just “America bad.”
