    I still use Gimp because it’s familiar. Is Krita actually that much better?

      It’s more focused towards art creation than image manipulation. They’re both good. I use both and I don’t see it as an either/or situation

      Krita is more of a painting tool than a general image editor, but it does feel way better to use than Gimp. I don’t know if it has the same application though.
